I went for my antenatal TCA yesterday evening. Alhamdulillah, my baby is growing well, just that my weight reduced about 350g...haha. Dr. Hamidah, my obstetrician said my baby is not engaged yet, seems like she does not want to come into the world yet. However, that is normal in a gravida 2 para 1 like me, where the baby will only be engaged during labour. I thought I felt my baby has come down as I feel pressure at my pelvic bone and started to get leg swelling.
All things for my admission to hospital in case I go into labour are ready. 1 bag for my items, 1 bag for the newborn baby stuff and another 1 bag for my daughter's items. I felt relieved as our house finally looks and feel like a home now without boxes and things not sorted out yet...still got few boxes at the back room though which contained not so important stuff :) Also few things that I felt needed to be changed anew...don't know if they can be done before my delivery or not...hmm, what say you, mr. hubby?
My husband and I are in the process of looking for a maid to take care of this baby (plus my daughter and the household chores). I really feel I need a maid now because my husband frequently goes outstation. At least, I have someone with me that I can get help from in case anything happens. If anyone knows or would like to work with us, don't be shy to contact me. We prefer to get maid originated from Malaysia, but I know that would be quite impossible..huhu.
I hope my decision to deliver my child at Hospital Putrajaya under the Full Paying Patient scheme (like private wing) is the right choice. Quite a number of private medical centres and maternity centres we surveyed, but I just felt a bit unsafe to go to a private hospital. I have more trust in government hospital...because I know the management in private hospital is different than in the government hospital...private hospital also do not have the basic and important facilities eg blood bank and enough doctors. As I am working at MOH, I received lots of maternal mortality cases from private hospitals that are actually preventable.....very scaryy!! Some of the cases, the management is totally different from what us doctors learnt in medical school and it's very frightening how they (specialists) can get their certificate to practice like that. Moreover, I think the treatment charges at FPP Hospital Putrajaya is reasonable, unlike other private centres. What is important, I want my delivery to be conducted by a Muslim female doctor safely....amin.
